Chalet lac Montjoie
Do not be convinced that this façade is all there is to this house: it is actually a three storey building. Although it presents itself with neutral tones, pops of blues and greens are present throughout the house and the fireplace in the cathedral space gives it a nice, warm touch.

Béliveau-Lapointe-Bourassa : certified LEED Gold
This is the first project by UrbanÉco at the Boisé du Lac Parker, designed and built for a couple. An integrated garage with a rooftop patio attached to the 2015 square feet house allows the owners to enjoy a glass of wine under the last rays of sun during the golden hour. The exterior siding made out of burnt wood adds a touch of elegance.
Inside, the usual layout is flipped upside down: the living areas are upstairs, whilst the bedrooms and office space are downstairs.

Langlois-Allard: certified Novoclimat
This intergenerational home is the perfect example of balancing a communal lifestyle with your family and enjoy your intimacy at the same time. Inside, everything has been thought of down to the last detail for a minimalist yet elegant style, whether it is the hard-wood kitchen ceiling, the heated concrete flooring without baseboards, or a few decorating accessories that brings the room together. In total, the house includes 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. The entrance (in the middle) acts as the separation between the two generations and connects both sides of the house together. Underneath the entrance in the basement, there is a gym which all family members have access to!

Lecornec-Pibarot: certified Novoclimat
This magnificent home welcomes an abundance of light in each room. Upstairs, you will find three bedrooms and one complete bathroom where a country character is added to the house by a roof dormer. On the main floor, a heated concrete flooring provides year-round comfort to the home owners and requires very little maintenance, which is perfect for a family who owns a dog!

La Pool
Designed and delivered in just six months to an American couple who recently relocated to Canada, La Pool is at the cutting edge of technology in terms of low-energy indoor pools. This private indoor complex also houses a sauna, hammam (steam room) and a relaxation area with a wood burning stove. Many high-end technical elements that contribute to make this place an oasis of peace and relaxation have been chosen since they are healthy for the body and the environment. Air quality is ensured by efficient ventilation, automated humidity control and Cedar finishing and lime coatings have been chosen for their natural antifungal properties and great beauty. An LED lighting system creates soothing lighting ambiances and the high quality of materials, the choice of textures and colors, coupled with a welcoming and pure design are conducive to contemplation.

Houde-Blais-Heintz : certified Novoclimat
We design houses to make dreams come true.
This project was originally designed by another firm and we were contacted to do construction. During a discussion with the clients, they told us about all the architectural compromises they had made in order to meet their budget. Hearing the description of their original dream, it was obvious to us that there was a simpler, more accessible, and equally thoughtful way to achieve it. So we came up with a brand new plan a few days later, one that respected their budget and was based on their personalities, desires and their ways of living in the space. A generous, open living environment with floor-to-ceiling glass in the dining room, a living room bench nested between the warm fireplace and the grand openings. This space brings the project to life and gives justice to these owners. Built on two floors, this home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a multi room perfect for remote work and hobbies! A practical, functional and elegant home that reflects the family that lives in it.

Bonneviot-Riopel: certified LEED Platinum
This unique home is the result of a combination of two old solid wood homes, one a log house and the other beam and post, being deconstructed, moved and rebuilt to make one. The interior finishing is thus richly endowed with ancient recuperated materials with a story to tell, and with other resolutely contemporary fixtures that listen and by this virtue engender a dialogue, mutually enhancing one another.
Outside, a graceful pergola and a magnificent gazebo help forge the link with the natural environs and nearby lake.

Fortin-Courtemanche
Remarkably well-conceived and awash in light, this tiny house conveys and impression of grandeur with its high ceilings and ample windows. The main room of the house, which includes the kitchen and living room/dining room areas, is very welcoming. A place where life feels good and getting around is a pleasure! On all sides are a bedroom, bathroom, small vestibule and storage space, all installed on the same level. Designed by UrbanEco and built through a task sharing arrangement, this cozy little home features clean lines and is ingeniously decorated, in keeping with the image of this young couple who care about the environment.

Jean-Grégoire-Barbeau: certified LEED Platinum
The owners of this residence already had their conceptual design plans in hand, so UrbanEco proceeded to draw up construction plans. This second home located in the Eastern Townships presents the perfect application of passive solar design for a home. With a contemporary style, the building blends in perfectly with the natural environs. Its interior features are optimized to the maximum, with no space lost in this bright welcoming interior that encompasses four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. UrbanEco’s expertise and quality of execution combined with the owners’ penchant for clean lines and noble materials leave a lasting impression on all of its visitors. A remarkable achievement designed and built to pass the test of time.

This house is situated in the magnificent Eastern Townships forest and well adapted for family life. Spread on three floors, each inhabitant can find their own space. The building envelope is energy efficient and the materials are noble, creating an enjoyable and comfortable atmosphere for everyone.

La Victoria: certified LEED Platinum
Welcome to the La Victoria project, where a geometric spatial play welcomes and invites you to venture further into rooms featuring exposed wood beams, a solid tongue and groove wood floors, giving it warmth and authenticity. Practical and functional, it has a garage-workshop, as well as a four-season greenhouse adjoining the kitchen, allowing for year-round cooking with plenty of fresh herbs, tomatoes and other vegetables! Designed for a father and his daughter, this house is built on two levels, including a frost-free wall and floor slab floor heating. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a bedroom-office and a bathroom with laundry room.
This house is certified Novoclimat 2.0 and in the process of LEED certification.

La Côtière: certified LEED Gold
Welcome to La Côtière, a project that used to be our offices and model home under one roof. Designed and built accordingly to the site, with indoor and outdoor finishes that are healthy for the body and the environment, this model house reflects our company’s values and philosophy.
The chosen materials are local, noble and sustainable requiring low maintenance and repair costs. Paints and coats have either low or free volatile compounds emissions, which are toxic and usually found in regular constructions. Furthermore, its solar passive and bioclimatic design, combined with sunshields guarantees a house that is fresh in the summertime, and warm and cozy in the winter while remaining bathed in natural light year-round. With triple fenestration, superior building envelope air and water-tightness, La Côtière has a low energy consumption (between 30%-60% less than a conventional home). In brief, our model home represents what an UrbanÉco house is: an investment for a better quality of life, and a comfort you can’t find elsewhere.

Courchesne-Courcier: certified Novoclimat
Designed and constructed by UrbanEco, this vast residence extends in remarkable fashion over several levels.
On the first floor it features a superb living room with an 11-foot ceiling and large windows facing south. A few steps up are the entrance, kitchen and dining room. Upstairs, we find 2 bedrooms and a third room currently used as a workshop, as well as a generous sitting room.
Presenting a natural wood exterior and intricately angled roof, this country house melds perfectly with its setting, deep in the country surrounded by magnificent horses.
A home for this new family to live their dreams!

Morin-Richer
The metamorphosis of a chalet into a butterfly:
On this enchanting site, a family cottage testified to the preceding eras. With a tip of a hat and few taps of hammers, another page in the history of this family was written.
Being in contact, in every sense of the word and to the utmost, with the beautiful Eastern Townships lake was the guiding principle for this impressive major renovation. Facing southern exposure, the oversized balcony and large windows, with the spa and generous sheltered area, enable all to appreciate nature and the landscape come what may the weather. Indoors, the open concept space, including the art studio overlooking the lake and the massive observational expanse of the mezzanine with its central spiral staircase, adds a sense of grandeur to everyday living while remaining within the bounds of reason, with regard to dimensions at least…

As soon as you walk into this home, you can feel the spacious open concept that was ingeniously designed by UrbanEco’s architecture and design team. Making the most of the Brompton Lake shoreline, huge windows adorn the façade to offer breathtaking views of the water. The ceilings up to 17 feet high, a central staircase and glass railings between floors help amplify the sense of grandeur. Exposed beams give even more character to this magnificent house that is flooded in natural light. A mezzanine with 2 additional bedrooms and a large living room complete the living space.
